The Brief:
FenTrue was envisioned as a robust solution to streamline data acquisition and integration in fieldwork scenarios. Aimed at addressing the prevalent inaccuracies and inefficiencies in the existing manual process, this project sought to eliminate the common pitfalls of on-site data handling. Challenges such as measurement errors, missed tasks, and calculation discrepancies were leading to multiple site visits, thus escalating costs.
Additionally, the reliance on pen and paper not only contributed to indecipherable records but also magnified the likelihood of errors due to illegible handwriting. This archaic method further compounded the problem by necessitating redundant data entry, a notorious source of mistakes. The lack of a standardized procedure exacerbated the training hurdles for new team members, creating an urgent need for a streamlined, error-minimizing solution.
The Approach:
In crafting FenTrue, we commenced with rigorous research to pinpoint similar offerings and validate the app’s potential via market analyses and stakeholder interviews. The design phase was task-centric; we meticulously mapped out each task to its ideal UI counterpart, aiming for an intuitive and visually compelling interface highlighted by bold colors to convey professionalism and dependability. Prototyping was streamlined through Adobe XD and Figma, allowing swift, cost-effective iterations.
For development, we chose the Flutter framework powered by Dart, which catered to our market reach goals while keeping expenditure in check. Through iterative development, FenTrue evolved into a seamless fusion of practicality and aesthetic appeal, ensuring its alignment with user needs and market standards.
The Result:
FenTrue is advancing steadily towards a beta launch in early 2024. The core workflow functionalities are in place, awaiting field testing to validate their effectiveness in live environments. While the backend infrastructure is still under construction, our immediate aim is to deploy a functional app for user testing. This step is crucial for capturing genuine user insights and leveraging them to fine-tune the application. Our development philosophy embraces this iterative feedback loop, ensuring that each update is informed by actual user experiences, thus paving the way for a refined and user-responsive final product.

The Brief:
The Blue Hour Consulting website was conceived to reflect the dynamic and modern essence of a multimedia marketing company, with a design that encapsulates their distinctive look and corporate culture. The objective was to create a sleek, contemporary, and swift-feeling online presence that mirrors the firm’s innovative and forward-thinking approach. A critical challenge was the existing website’s inability to effectively showcase the company’s breadth of services, which often became muddled and lost to visitors.
Additionally, the previous site’s management posed significant challenges due to its outdated design and cumbersome interface. The need for a revitalized appearance and a more intuitive, manageable platform was evident to better serve the company’s clients and stakeholders.
The Approach:
Initiating the Blue Hour Consulting website overhaul began with a comprehensive content audit, collecting existing materials from the client and determining what could be repurposed versus what required refreshing. We scrutinized competitor websites to benchmark functionality and user experience, aiming to surpass industry standards. Our focus was on deploying proven UI/UX strategies to construct a site that was not just visually appealing but also optimized for search engines, ensuring content visibility and accessibility.
On the development front, we laid the groundwork by configuring the hosting environment on a shared server, installing WordPress, and setting up corporate email systems. This foundational work included updating name servers, implementing SSL for security, and adjusting performance settings for optimal site speed. To streamline SEO efforts and management, we integrated the Yoast plugin, providing a robust framework for ongoing search engine optimization and ensuring the site’s discoverability in a competitive digital landscape.
The Result:
The Blue Hour Consulting website project has reached a successful completion, with the site now live and fully operational. The current phase is dedicated to enhancing SEO performance, driving visibility, and attracting the right audience through strategic content optimization. The client has expressed satisfaction with the site’s design and functionality, affirming that it accurately represents their brand and resonates with their culture. With a modern and sleek interface that encapsulates the company’s dynamic spirit, the website stands as a testament to Blue Hour Consulting’s commitment to excellence and innovation in the multimedia marketing landscape.

The Brief:
The PHD Church mobile app project was conceived with the vision of creating an all-encompassing digital platform that would empower users to engage with their faith through technology. Recognizing the absence of an existing app that met their specific needs, the church sought to amalgamate various spiritual activities into a single, seamless application. Existing Bible apps fell short, lacking in desired functionalities and failing to offer a convenient giving option.
The envisioned app was to include a wide array of Bible translations, a custom-designed bottom navigation bar for ease of use, and integrated giving through Stripe to facilitate donations. User accounts, access to video content, a record of giving history, and overall effortless navigation were paramount to meet the congregation’s needs, ensuring a holistic and enriching user experience.
The Approach:
The development of the PHD Church mobile app was grounded in a thorough analysis of existing Bible applications, with particular attention to their functionalities and user-favored features. We delved deep into UI/UX principles to ensure the design was not only aesthetically pleasing but also user-friendly and functional for the most common user interactions. The design process was highly iterative; we cycled through numerous layout and wireframe variations, employing Figma for its agility in prototyping and redesigns.
For the build phase, we once again leveraged the versatility of Flutter, favoring its cross-platform capabilities to maximize reach, especially considering the Android predominance in our target demographic. A standout feature was the custom-designed navigation bar, which included a unique gradient wave effect, meticulously crafted from the ground up to add a distinctive and visually engaging element to the app’s interface.
The Result:
The PHD Church mobile app is nearing the culmination of its development journey, with the team applying the final touches in preparation for testing and subsequent release. The focus is now on polishing the app to ensure it meets the high standards set forth for functionality and user experience. Anticipation is building for its launch, scheduled for early 2024, when the app will be introduced to the congregation. With the release on the horizon, the PHD Church mobile app is set to revolutionize the way the community interacts with their faith, scripture, and church giving practices.
